Firstly, thank you for taking the time to browse the Kinaesthetic Training Systems website, either for your interest in beginning your Firearms training journey, or you’re seeking a space to take your firearms training to the next level.

My name is Matthew Richard Williams I am the founder of KTS a veteran run and owned company I started in 2019. I am a 14-year Infantry veteran and Ex Queensland Police Officer with over 30 years of firearms training and experience.My Military CSIC (Combat Shooting Instructor Course) qualification allowed me to instruct countless numbers of students in advanced close, medium and long-range firearms activities to ADF personnel, Foreign Military and Law enforcement agencies, conducted both here in Australia and overseas during my Military carrier. 

My firearms journey began as a junior at the ripe age of 11 under my father’s tuition, competing in ISSF pistol shooting competitions, target rifle competitions and holiday family hunting trips, advancing into long range target shooting and becoming the IPSC discipline captain at Metropolitan Pistol Club. I also hold a QLD Instructor firearms license with categories A,B,C,D,H,M,M miscellaneous under the QRA RTO 5308

My goal with KTS was to design a company that would provide knowledge to serving and civilian persons looking to have a fast paced instructor led environment to help navigate the process of becoming a Queensland firearm’s license holder, whilst also providing the highest levels of on the tools training to expediate your own confidence in what can be a daunting process without guidance in obtaining you’re firearms license.

How KTS achieves this, we use Queensland Weapons Licensing branch certified sports shooting disciplines such as IPSC (International Practical Shooting Competition) and Police service pistol to conduct the pistol training and F Class rifle matches to conduct the long-range activities.

We provide a safe enjoyable space for learning with all equipment provided. Our expert instructors are Ex QPS and Ex ADF members with advanced knowledge of safe firearms handling practices. Experienced in civilian hunting practices, pistol and rifle sports and target shooting practices. And all instructors hold current QLD A+B+H firearms licenses, and the accredited Range Officer qualifications to conduct our safe range activities.
